Stephanie M. Hom, PhD
Stephanie M. Hom brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education to Acus Foundation, including interdisciplinary expertise in academic research, teaching, service, publishing, grant writing, and program management. She also has a successful track record of fundraising centered on foundation relations and government funding agencies. She is the author of numerous publications, including two monographs, and previously held the position of Presidential Professor of Italian at the University of Oklahoma, where she specialized in the cultural politics of immigration and tourism in the Mediterranean. Prior to academia, she worked as a journalist in the U.S. and Italy. She holds a BA with Honors from Brown University, and an MA and PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
